Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Fabricator Welder on site near Buckley.

Job Role: Working on site, the Fabricator Welder will be involved in onsite fabrication, Stick Welding and MIG welding of structural steel components. The work includes interpreting drawings, cutting and assembling metalwork, and welding to a high standard using MIG & Stick techniques. The role is physically demanding and carried out outdoors on active construction sites.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £25.00- £28.00 CIS
  • Monday- Friday 10 hour days- Potential to rise to 12
  • Overtime Saturday & Sunday x1.5
  • Duration: Temporary- 4 weeks

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with onsite fabrication, Stick Welding & MIG Welding
  • Proficient in interpreting fabrication drawings
  • Skilled in handling steel sections and using welding equipment

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Background in structural or industrial steel fabrication projects

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Candidates must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

Additional Information:

  • Candidates will be required to obtain an MP Connect Card (The client handles this)
