For the successful Supply Chain Planner, our client is offering:
- Salary of up to GBP45,000 P/A depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 8.00 AM to 4.30 PM and Friday 8.00 AM to 1.30 PM – 37 hours per week
- Permanent position

The Role Supply Chain Planner:
Reporting to the Operations manager you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production activities within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures efficient use of resources (materials, labour, equipment) to meet customer demand and production targets while minimising downtime and optimising production flow.
- Ensure Customers and the Sales team remain informed on the status of orders
- Management of Installation Planning Process, both internal and external installers
- Maintenance of Master Production Schedule (SAP)
- Lead the weekly planning meetings and ensure actions are tracked and executed
- Lead weekly update meetings with the sales teams
- Track production progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on production output, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Liaise with third parties for schedules and deliveries
- Work with key stakeholders across the sales and operations processes to ensure customer demand is met
What our client is looking for in a Supply Chain Planner:
- GCSE levels
- Supply Chain or material planning qualifications DESIRABLE
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing plant, preferably in a similar industry Experience with ERP planning systems, preferably within SAP – ESSENTIAL
- Understanding of Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical engineering principles
- Deep understanding of material flows, work in progress, finished goods and the overall manufacturing principles
- Good IT skills, including Google platforms and MS Office, and have experience on SAP
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders
- Be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with
