Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client in their search for a HGV Technician to work from their Ruabon based facility.
For the successful HGV Technician, our client is offering:
- Salary between £46,000 and £50,000
- 4 on 4 off day shifts (6am to 6pm)
- Overtime opportunities available – paid at time and a half
- Permanent role
- On call required (on a rota basis)
The role – HGV Technician:
- Maintaining a fleet of HGV s, vans and plant
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
- Weld and fabricate components as needed
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
What our client is looking for in an HGV Technician:
- Level 3 HGV Technician Qualification – ESSENTIAL
- Minimum Class 2 HGV License – ESSENTIAL
- Class 1 HGV License – DESIRABLE
- Welding skills – DESIRABLE
- Experience in a commercial workshop
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Familiarity with HGV systems, components and maintenance procedures
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks
