Renishaw’s Spectroscopy Products Division is looking for an Assembler to assist in assembling, testing, and inspecting products to meet specified standards, ensuring a reliable supply that adheres to agreed delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and inspect products according to defined standards.
- Follow all relevant instructions, both written and verbal, and report any deficiencies observed in the process.
- Use skills and techniques acquired during training to work efficiently and with a focus on quality, ensuring that product quality and production targets are met.
- Inform supervision of any issues that may affect product quality.
- Build low volume and special assemblies from drawings, without WI’s and feedback any build issues to the design team.
- Work sensibly and safely at all times, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and reporting any concerns immediately.
Key requirements:
- Demonstratable assembly experience.
- Good eyesight, with or without spectacles/contact lenses.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity, capable of handling various delicate component parts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt and continuously improve.
- Confidence and ability to operate machinery, test equipment, and computer systems when necessary.
- Proficiency in reading and accurately interpreting build instructions and technical drawings.
