As part of CRH Infrastructure Products, Hydro International plays a leading role in water management, protecting people, places and the planet from flooding, pollution and water scarcity. We are now looking for an experienced Welder to join our Production team at our Eastington site. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our manufacturing operation, supporting the production of high‑quality stainless‑steel products that make a real difference to water and wastewater infrastructure across the UK and beyond.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, accurate and timely fabrication work. Using your welding expertise, you’ll help maintain product quality, operational performance and overall site efficiency, contributing directly to business profitability and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and welding specifications
- Setting up, preparing and operating TIG welding equipment
- Welding and fabricating stainless steel components to a high standard
- Assembling metal structures and components to exact design requirements
- Inspecting welded joints to ensure quality, strength and compliance
- Identifying welding defects and carrying out repairs or adjustments
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Setting up, maintaining and reporting faults on welding tools and equipment
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health
