FM Conway is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Service Advisor to work within our Workshop division. As our Service Advisor, you will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all legislative, statutory, and operator license requirements are fully met and adhered to, while minimising vehicle downtime as much as possible. This is a permanent, full‑time position based from in Dartford, Kent.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a principal point of contact for enquiries reference transport and fleet maintenance queries.
  • Liaise with third‑party workshops and leasing companies on booking requirements and that associated paperwork is received and is correct.
  • Utilise booking management system to notify operational teams on booking dates.
  • Check fleet tracking system, Samsara, and liaise with the fleet operational teams to ensure that vehicles are presented to the respective workshops at the allocated booking.
  • Raise and close job cards within Freeway, ensuring all required and relevant documentation and back up information has been uploaded within the job card.
  • Deal with enquiries and booking in vehicles at the service counter in workshop reception, listing any known driver’s defects and communicating to workshop.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a professional and confident candidate, who has experience of communicating with a variety of people via telephone, email, and face to face. It is essential that the successful applicant has previous experience in a service advisor role, or similar position.
