Salary: Β£12.65 - Β£13.05 per hour

Hours of work: 27.5 hours/week (08.50 - 15.20 with an hour break during the day), term time only.

Contract type: 1 year temporary contract

A bit about us: Stratford-sub-Castle C E VC Primary School is a small village school set in beautiful countryside, close to the historic city of Salisbury. We pride ourselves on our warm and nurturing environment where children and adults are encouraged to be the very best they can be.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, committed, and hardworking, has a good sense of humour, is able to work as part of a team and will support the ethos of the school.

All about the role: The Governors are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our happy and committed team. The posts provide an excellent opportunity for anyone with previous experience or hoping to widen their horizons, and offer the opportunity to work with some great people; children, parents and colleagues!

It is essential to have energy, the ability to communicate well, form good relationships, show initiative, and be enthusiastic, caring and willing to learn. A sense of humour and the ability to be flexible is essential!

The Teaching Assistant would be asked to work across the EYFS/Key Stage 1 phase, but must also have the ability, flexibility and interest to work with all ages. You may also work with individual children and small groups as and when required. You will also be required to support the children on the playground at lunchtime. An interest in supporting children with SEND is an advantage.
