We champion user‑centred thinking and work with our clients to both design change and support full delivery of change. We consider ourselves ‘product people’ and work across the different definitions of ‘product owner’ and ‘product manager’ with our clients. Alongside delivering excellent product management to our clients, we need someone who can help build our product management capability internally and help grow our knowledge base.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Act as a product manager for our clients, balancing the client’s strategy with the business, technical and user needs to deliver excellent digital products and services.
  • Work closely with BAs, UX, user research, technical teams, change managers and business operational teams to understand pain points and opportunities within products and services – focusing on the full end to end journey.
  • Have deep empathy for users/customers and work closely with user researchers to structure research to find user needs and pain points, work with UX colleagues to create and test prototypes and translate insight, customer needs and product strategy into an actionable product roadmap and backlog.
  • Create and prioritise product and service roadmaps and backlogs, balancing all different viewpoints whilst being pragmatic and confident with decisions.
  • Own and develop metrics to determine performance and benefits, working with performance analysts, be data driven with decisions and outcomes.
  • Research and develop a compelling business case for a product and deliver that product in a way that is financially and commercially viable.
  • Able to take a product through its full lifecycle from inception to live, working with stakeholders, product designers and engineers to iteratively release and adapt a product that is valuable, usable, feasible and viable.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a product manager/product owner either in industry or in consulting.
  • Agile by default – strong knowledge of agile development practices.
  • Fantastic consulting skills – facilitating workshops, solving complex problems, writing documents, delivering compelling messages, gaining trust, working with uncertainty, thinking on your feet!
  • Experience leading multi-supplier teams, collaborating in a ‘one‑team’ approach, and working in highly regulated environments (e.g., telecoms, government), public sector product management and GDS.
  • Involvement in sales and pre‑sales related content around contributing to proposals, presenting and managing proposals.
