Job Introduction

  • Permanent – full time 36 hours per week / 52 weeks
  • Hours to be agreed, split shift considered

Brandlehow Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive and community-focused primary school with a fantastic reputation. We are located in Putney, South West London, very close to both East Putney tube station and Putney train station.

We are seeking a reliable, conscientious and pro‑active Premises Officer to play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation, safety and development of our school site. This is an important role within the school, working closely with the School Business Leader, the Headteacher and wider staff team to ensure that our buildings and grounds support high‑quality teaching, learning and community use.

The Premises Officer will have a solution‑focused approach to site management, maintenance, health and safety and security, and will contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of site management, caretaking or building maintenance or is willing to learn
  • Has a good understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Is practical, organised and able to work independently using their own initiative
  • Can communicate effectively with staff, contractors and visitors
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards across the school environment
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
