Renishaw has a requirement for a Waste Management Technician to join our Facilities team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our Miskin site.
Key responsibilities:
- The collection and transportation of general site waste
- Collecting recycling waste and its separation prior to disposal
- Removal of waste using various compaction systems
- Site litter picking in order to maintain the high level of cleanliness expected
Key requirements:
- This is a manual role and very physically demanding – the successful applicant must be able to cope with this aspect of the role
- The ability to work alone for significant periods in all weathers
- A full and valid UK driving licence
- The ability to drive, manoeuvre and reverse various tractors and trailers
Desirable requirements:
- A good level of PC literacy
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Knowledge of COSHH
Person specification:
The successful applicant will have a high level of attention to detail, good initiative and an ability to implement continuous improvement. They will be self-motivated and flexible in their approach to work. Good communication skills are essential.
