Lead Park Ranger at Grafham Water - Permanent / Full Time salary beginning £35,000 per annum. This role involves shift patterns, with longer days during spring and summer and shorter days over autumn and winter.
What the role entails
- Team Leadership: Supervise and work alongside the Ranger team to keep Grafham Water safe, clean, operational, and well‑presented. Carry out and record health and safety checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Hands‑on operations: Assist with repairing and servicing facilities, groundskeeping, cleaning, and boat maintenance. Keep equipment and tools in good working order.
- Customer engagement: Welcome and assist visitors and anglers on‑site, answering questions and ensuring a great experience. Promote the Anglian Water brand and all our water parks.
- Support events and activities: Prepare and deliver park events, including logistics and on‑the‑day support.
- Teamwork: Work closely with management to deliver high standards across the park.
