The Role
An opportunity has arisen for two Operatives to join the Production Team, working a 3-shift rotating pattern. We are looking for a highly motivated, focused and driven individual who can demonstrate a positive can-do attitude together with excellent organisation skills. It is expected that the successful applicant will be a strong communicator with ability to support continuous drive for increased production output and reduced wastage.
Previous experience within a manufacturing process operation is preferred, but full training will be provided. It is expected that Production Operatives will be able to train in multiple areas providing a multi skilled and flexible team.
The shift pattern consists of: Week One – 2pm to 10pm, Week Two – 6am to 2pm and Week Three – 10pm to 6am.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Operating machines within production
- General manual handling
- Basic computer tasks
- Understanding as well as appreciation of both Health & Safety and Quality
The ideal candidate will be:
- Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Able to prioritise workload to achieve deadlines
- A good team player able to work as part of a crew and on their own
- Self-motivated
- Have good attention to detail
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
