Join us as a Production Operative and you’ll be a key part of the Greggs Team, making and packing the nation’s much loved Greggs products. You’ll have a passion for quality and will follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made, to keep our customers satisfied.

You’ll work with a great, close-knit team, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important. You’ll play an important part in producing our famous products, ensuring they meet the highest of quality standards, whilst following health, safety and hygiene processes. Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you’ll be exposed to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment.

About you: Ideally, you’ll have previously worked as a Production Operative. You’ll also need:

  • To be comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food
  • To take pride in the quality of the products you produce
  • To be comfortable standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning
  • Be supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
