Job Description
Job Purpose: As FP&A Analyst in the UK&I finance team, you will play a key part in all budget and forecast processes as well as provide ad‑hoc analysis delivering key insights in supporting cost efficiency and revenue opportunities. In addition, the role will take full ownership of revenue recognition accounting processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the FP&A Manager in delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, co‑ordinating closely with Group Finance colleagues and the wider business.
- Own and manage the weekly trade review process.
- Own the revenue recognition accounting processes including management of subscription and loyalty scheme accounting, leading to reporting of monthly results to the Commercial team.
- Provide the Area Managers with insightful commentary and data on monthly performance.
- Ad‑hoc support on financial performance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis working closely with Field Operations and Group Finance colleagues.
Key Skills
- Qualified accountant with a strong management accounting background.
- Highly analytical and inquisitive, with the desire to dig deeper and understand financial data.
- Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Experience within retail, leisure, or hospitality is advantageous.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across finance and non‑finance teams.
