The Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to join our BCA team on a permanent, term-time only basis. This role pays between G17 £21,166.19 and G19 £22,662.10 which is dependent on skills and experience (G17 £25,483.00 to G19 £27,284.00).
The position of Learning Support Assistant 1:1 involves working 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday) for 37 term time weeks per year. The responsibility of the Learning Support Assistant 1:1 is to enable students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.
To work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This will include working 1:1 with learners with specific needs; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
