Our People Team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a fixed-term basis to support our expanding nursery portfolio with full 360 recruitment. The role will work closely with People Team management, Childcare Directors, Nursery Managers, and other senior members of Kids Planet. This maternity cover position is based at our Head Office in Lymm, Cheshire, and will be office-based for the first six months, so the ability to commute is essential. The role will also involve some travel to events and occasional visits to nursery settings.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Identifying and implementing creative ways to attract suitable candidates.
  • Producing engaging job adverts that reflect the Kids Planet brand and showcase what makes our nurseries unique.
  • Managing adverts and candidate communications.
  • Exploring and utilising appropriate recruitment channels in new locations.
  • Working collaboratively to understand hiring needs, priorities, and achieve recruitment targets.
  • Continuously improving the candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.
  • Supporting hiring managers with candidate management via our CRM system.
  • Building strong relationships with universities, schools, and work-coaching organisations to maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
