Position Overview

Integrate Buying & Planning Team by driving strategies and tactics to establish the optimum commercial cross channel assortment for related brands/regions, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction. Leading teams and shaping department vision will be key for the individual to succeed in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define brand assortment & pricing strategy
  • Coordinate team operations and seasonal calendar/milestones
  • Partner with business stakeholders to generate synergies and ensure strategy alignment
  • Track business performance weekly (SI, SO, GM…)
  • Benchmark decisions against competition & broader market landscape
  • Ensure cross channel alignment and build segmentation strategy
  • Define seasonal assortment needs upfront & share with Global Merchandising teams
  • Lead investment reviews with senior management and key seasonal milestones
  • Prepare & present the assortment at line opening meeting
  • Manage, develop & motivate team

  • Contribute to brand elevation both on qualitative and quantitative point of view
  • Optimize brand inventory position
  • Lead/initiate business development projects
  • Challenges and inform seasonal product plans & OTB

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • International background (work / study)
  • Deep understanding of retail business and of shop floor dynamics
  • Product presentation experience
  • Min 8+ full strategic cycles working experience in Merchandising, Buying or similar roles
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams with multiple layers of reporting
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Concrete passion for Diversity & Inclusion values

  • Office package knowledge
