As the Assistant Merchandiser Advanced on Womenswear you will take full ownership for budgeting, promotional and clearance markdown, in‑season trading and exit decisions and intake and volume plan.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Manage ongoing stock planning
- Provide reporting on supplier performance against KPIs
- Manage promotional and clearance markdown
- Manage in‑season and exit trading
- Coordinate stock allocation to stores
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
- Working to at least Assistant Merchandiser level at a major retailer
- Passionate about M&S and the menswear product range – confident initiating trading actions.
- Technical knowledge of the end to end buy to store process
- Experience of using the relevant IT support systems
- Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
- Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with Design, Buying and Technology
- Strong communication and influencing skills
