About the Role

We’re looking for an Employer Support and Recruitment Co‑ordinator within our Apprenticeship Directorate. The role focuses on supporting employers and apprentices throughout the apprenticeship journey, providing expert advice, guidance and training opportunities across sectors.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with a range of employers to identify their workforce development needs and offer tailored skills solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with levy‑paying employers and SMEs.
  • Represent the organisation at external events, meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Support prospective apprentices by preparing them for interviews, conducting initial and additional learning support assessments and delivering high‑quality career information, advice and guidance.
  • Manage the advertisement of apprenticeship vacancies and assist employers with the DAS platform.

About You

  • Proven experience in Employer Engagement, Business Development or Sales within the Further Education sector with a track record of achieving performance targets.
  • Background in account‑managing employer or stakeholder relations with sustained partnership growth.
  • Confidence and experience delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholder groups, both in person and online.
  • Solid understanding of the Further Education landscape and apprenticeship programmes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and present effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, thriving in a dynamic role.
