We’re looking for a Highways Maintenance Technician to join our Highway Maintenance & Management team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll make a real difference across Cambridgeshire’s road network.
About you
Essential- Good general education (GCSEs including English, Maths and Science or equivalent).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently.
- Basic IT skills (e.g. email, Word, Excel).
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel across the county.
- Knowledge of highways or local government.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders or the public.
- Additional driver training or experience with larger vehicles.
