FM Conway is recruiting for Drainage Repair Operatives to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career within a specialist industry, working on essential infrastructure that helps protect communities, businesses and the environment.

As our Drainage Repair Operative, you will work as part of a skilled team carrying out a variety of drainage repair and rehabilitation works. Using innovative no-dig repair techniques, you’ll help restore and maintain drainage systems safely and efficiently, minimising disruption to the public. This is a full-time, permanent position based from our Kings Langley depot, with work carried out across the surrounding region, with some overnight stays expected which you will be compensated for.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out drainage lining and rehabilitation works
  • Supporting the installation of patch repairs and no-dig drainage solutions
  • Preparing equipment, materials and work areas prior to repairs
  • Working safely within confined spaces and following all health and safety procedures
  • Supporting CCTV investigations and drainage surveys where required
  • Completing job records and documentation accurately
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services to our customers

Whilst full training will be provided, experience or qualifications in any of the following areas would be advantageous, particularly if you are looking to develop a career within the drainage industry:

  • Robotic Cutting
  • Full Length Lining (UV or Inversion)
  • Confined Space Entry
  • HGV Licence
