The predicted salary is between 31270 - 32916 £ per year.
We are recruiting for an experienced Roofer who will ideally have experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment. You will undertake roofing and other trade repairs and maintenance work, to provide high quality, ‘right first time’, cost effective building services to the business and its customers. Please be advised that this role is covering our properties based within the East Midlands.
Qualifications
- Ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency
- NVQ2 qualification or equivalent and long‑term relevant trade experience
- High level of skill in roofing repairs and replacement works
- Additional basic skills to complete roofing related works: replacement timber works, UPVC facia
- You will be provided with your own Metworks van for working hours
- Minimum of one year of significant driving experience required
MTVH reserves the right to withdraw this offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance. Standard background check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be conducted once an offer is made, paid for by MTVH. DBS updating service will be renewed every 3 years. The salary displayed will be paid for anyone starting on or after 1st April 2026.
