Salary: £60,995 per annum

Shift Description: 06:00 – 18:00 & 18:00 – 06:00. 12 hours shifts, days and nights across a 6-week rota schedule. Average weekly hours – 42.

Nestlé Halifax Factory in West Yorkshire is the home of the iconic confectionery brand Quality Street, alongside several other well-known brands such as After Eight. These products are crafted using advanced process plant technology and highly automated filling and packing lines, ensuring consistent quality at scale.

  • You will play a key role in driving line performance and supporting a high-performing production environment.

  • You drive line efficiency, maximise output and ensure achievement of production plans and key performance indicators.

Continuous Improvement:

  • You identify opportunities, analyse data and lead structured problem-solving to improve processes and reduce waste.

Quality & Compliance:

  • You ensure products meet quality, food safety and hygiene standards every time.

People & Team Coordination:

  • You support, guide and coordinate teams on shift, building capability and promoting accountability.

Safety & Standards:

  • You maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring safe working practices and compliance at all times.

Your Ingredients for Success:

  • You will bring experience from a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, along with analytical and leadership capability.
  • You will be confident in using data to improve performance and comfortable working with modern systems and tools.

Manufacturing Experience:

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.

Continuous Improvement Skills:

  • Experience delivering improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving approaches.

Technical & Systems Knowledge:

  • Experience using ERP systems (ideally SAP) and Microsoft 365 tools.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Ability to lead, influence and communicate effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational qualification, apprenticeship or HNC relevant to manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
