What you can expect in this role:
- You’ll play a key role in shaping pricing, reserving and capital decisions by bringing thoughtful challenge, collaboration and a forward-looking view of risk.
- You’ll work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, Actuarial and Finance functions, as well as senior business leaders, helping to provide expert oversight, review and assurance.
- You’ll contribute to the development of insurance risk capability and knowledge across the Risk team, focusing on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You’ll have opportunities to learn, develop and grow within the role.
- You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues who want you to succeed.
What you might bring:
- Experience working closely with actuarial, pricing, reserving and underwriting teams within a General Insurance setting, contributing to oversight, review and challenge of key business decisions.
- Skills in general insurance pricing, reserving and underwriting, with the ability to interpret technical outputs and translate them into clear risk insight, and a willingness to learn and ask questions.
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge while working closely with Line 1 teams.
