The Risk team works in partnership across Covéa to support informed decision‑making and positive outcomes. What you can expect in this role:

  • You’ll play a key role in providing Line 2 oversight and challenge across enterprise risks, including operational, financial crime, insurance, legislative and regulatory risks (excluding technology and cyber).
  • You’ll work closely with business leaders, helping to support risk‑informed decision making.
  • You’ll contribute to delivering clear, authoritative and outcome‑focused risk opinions into relevant governance and decision‑making forums, acting as a trusted advisor on risk strategy and appropriate responses.
  • You’ll lead initiatives to strengthen risk culture and capability as part of a wider business transformation programme, embedding more forward‑looking, insight‑led risk practices across the organisation.
  • You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues who want you to succeed.

What you might bring:

  • Experience in enterprise risk within Financial Services (General Insurance would be a bonus), or a strong interest in building your expertise in this space.
  • Skills in Risk, with the ability to break down complex issues and explain them clearly—and a curiosity to keep learning and developing.
  • Experience leading and influencing at senior level, with a focus on coaching, capability uplift and setting expectations for high quality technical judgement.
