We are seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to support the Internal Audit team’s delivery of audit work across the Investments audit team. The role focuses on assisting with audit delivery, supporting audit plan development, and ensuring audit findings are communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the audit plan through research, stakeholder engagement, and auditing insights.
  • Assist Audit Manager and Senior Manager in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Plan, scope, and perform audit work, potentially acting as Audit Lead.
  • Analyse identified issues, determine root causes, and report findings with timely follow‑up.
  • Ensure audit documentation meets methodology and quality requirements.
  • Communicate audit findings effectively to senior business management.
  • Validate issue resolution and report on business closure of issues.
  • Act as a role model for IA’s vision, culture, strategy, and plan.
  • Focus IA work on high‑risk areas and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other audit delivery teams to achieve quality and timely completion of audits.
