Salary: TA: D4-D6 – £25,185-£25,989 FTE, Actual Salary: £15,688 – £16,188 per annum / MDSA: B3 £24,796 FTE, Actual Salary: £1,404 per annum

Hours: TA: 27.5 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days) Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12noon plus 1.00pm to 3.00pm. MDSA: 2.5 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days) Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 12noon to 12.30pm.

Contract: Permanent. Both roles are interlinked so if you resign from one, you will need to resign from the other one simultaneously. We’re happy to talk flexible working options in regards to all our roles.

About the role: We are seeking to appoint a committed and flexible individual to a linked role as a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisory Assistant. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and liaison skills and will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to provide high-quality support across the classroom. In addition, the role includes responsibilities as an MDSA, supporting children during lunchtime in both the dining hall and on the playground to help ensure a safe and positive environment. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, and will receive close support and guidance from teachers and colleagues. The successful applicant will support a community where everyone is encouraged to reach their potential, work together toward shared goals, feel valued, enjoy a positive environment, and build relationships founded on kindness and trust.

About us: Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire and is part of the Pickwick Academy Trust. We also have our on-site Sunflowers Nursery which accepts children from the age of 3 years old.
