Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Working collaboratively across teams to support Salutem’s strategic goals.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and adhering to quality frameworks.

  • Ensuring safe handling, administration, and storage of medications.
  • Providing evidence‑based clinical care, including procedures such as catheterisation, PEG/tracheostomy management, and NG tube care.
  • Upholding safeguarding responsibilities for children and adults.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical and organisational records in line with NMC and data protection regulations.
  • Supporting the Service Manager with supervision, mentoring, and development of support staff.
  • Promoting safe environments through health & safety, infection control, and risk management.
  • Building effective relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Delivering person‑centred care planning, health promotion, and effective transition management.
  • Participating in clinical supervision, audits, training, and continuous service improvement.
  • Supporting recruitment, induction, and staff meetings.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of the NMC Code and legislation relating to disability, mental health, or physical health needs.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults in residential, day service, youth work, or similar environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to reflect on practice and work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep‑ins.
  • A full driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Personal or professional experience relating to challenges faced by vulnerable adults.
