Are you a commercially minded Business Analyst with a passion for turning complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions? We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Projects and Consulting practice at Capgemini, embedded on programmes that genuinely matter. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, lead with confidence in stakeholder settings, and bring rigour to requirements without losing sight of the bigger picture. If you take ownership, communicate with clarity, and are ready to step up as a trusted voice in complex change programmes, we’d love to hear from you.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role: In this role you will work at the heart of change programmes, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to define what needs to be built, why it matters, and how success will be measured. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, bringing structure to complex problem spaces and keeping delivery teams aligned to business intent.
- Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, requirements elicitation sessions, and sprint ceremonies with senior business and technology stakeholders, translating outputs into clear, structured requirements including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain business process models (As-Is and To-Be) using standard notation, acting as the conduit between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the right things are built, for the right reasons.
- Own and manage the requirements backlog end-to-end, ensuring full traceability from business objective through solution design, delivery, and testing.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and impact analysis to support decision-making at programme and project level, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and scope issues and escalating appropriately.
- Support UAT planning and execution, working closely with QA teams and end users to validate that delivered solutions meet defined requirements and business intent.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve documentation quality, and surface insights that inform better business decisions.
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.
Your skills and experience: We’re looking for a candidate who brings approximately 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record delivering within technology enabled change programmes. You will have proven ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements across both Agile and Waterfall environments, and be confident facilitating workshops with senior and cross-functional stakeholders turning ambiguity into clear, actionable outputs.
- You will demonstrate a solid command of core business analysis techniques including process mapping (BPMN), user story writing, use case development, and gap analysis.
- An awareness of how AI and automation are reshaping the BA discipline across requirements gathering, process modelling, and data interpretation is increasingly important to us, and familiarity with AI assisted tooling will be viewed favourably.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Visio is advantageous.
- Above all, you will be an excellent communicator adapting your style with equal confidence for technical and non-technical audiences and a collaborative team player who can manage their own workload with autonomy across multiple concurrent workstreams.
We are a Disability Confident Employer. Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme. As part of our commitment to inclusive recruitment, we will offer an interview to all candidates who:
- Declare they have a disability, and
- Meet the minimum essential criteria for the role.
Please opt in during the application process.
Your security clearance and pre‑employment checks: If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service). To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
