We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy team within the Warehouse of a manufacturing site to ensure the smooth operations of moving, managing and organising goods within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift (Bendy) operation & pre-use safety checks
- Safely remove pallets from racking as detailed in pick list
- Safely moving pallets from end of factory line to racking
- Safely loading / unloading vehicles in yard area
- Operating scanner and occasional computer use
- Following SOP’s, SSW’s with a pro‑active approach to safety
- Attending training, meetings, company updates when required
Key Skills & Experience
- Forklift Licence preferably Pivot Steer (Bendy)
- Previous warehouse, picking and loading experience
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory
- Knowledge of health & safety in warehouse environment
- Problem solving skills
- Adaptable, able to embrace change at short notice
- Good communication both verbal and written
- IT competent – Using Scanners & Computer Applications etc.
