What we need from you as a Dry Cleaning Manager:
- You must have previous experience working as a Manager, or other similar position in a dry-cleaning retail environment and understand dry cleaning and laundering processes
- Have a proven track record of managing a team
- Be able to communicate with staff and customers
- Be IT literate familiar with EPOS till systems etc
- You must be well organised and able to make decisions
- Have a knowledge of handling different types of textiles and fabrics
- Have numerical skills to cope with accounts, book-keeping and budgeting
- Hold a UK Driving Licence
What the role involves:
- Day-to-day running of the dry cleaning plant to ensure items are dispatched on time and cleaned to a very high standard
- Communicating with all the shops on a daily basis to ensure a smoothly run company
- You will be required to oversee staff recruitment
- You will need the ability to organise staffing of the plant and shops
- Have the ability to carry out staff training in all aspects of clothing care and customer care
- You will need to have a diplomatic manner in dealing with customers concerns
- You will need a working knowledge of the health and safety involved in the dry cleaning and laundering environment
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus scheme. xiskglj
Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
