This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and well-established automotive manufacturing business in Tamworth, who due to continued success are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer. Our client is a leader in their field and has been delivering high-quality products to customers worldwide for over 35 years. They manufacture and fit specialist vehicle modifications, providing innovative solutions to a range of sectors including fire services, power networks, telecoms providers and vehicle recovery teams. As Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with departments across the business to monitor and develop the Quality Management System, implement inspection and testing methods and drive continuous improvements throughout the production process. What we need from you as a Quality Engineer: Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline 35 years' experience working within a relevant Quality Engineering role Good knowledge and understanding of quality standards and processes Experience of working with ISO accreditation and quality management systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments Confident training and supporting employees in quality assessment and production practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience using CAD software and Sage applications What the role involves: Working closely with sales, supply chain, design, production and after sales departments Monitoring and maintaining the Quality Management System Ensuring adherence to relevant international and national quality standards Implementing methods and procedures for inspecting and testing products Identifying and implementing improvements to increase product quality throughout each stage of production Carrying out and improving final inspection processes Ensuring compliance with ISO accreditation requirements Maintaining Conformity of Production (CoP) Investigating quality issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions Providing employees with the training, tools and techniques required to achieve quality standards Training and managing staff in quality assessment and production practices Working with the wider team to promote continuous improvement and consistently high-quality standards Salary: Β£35,000 - Β£45,000 per year, depending on experience. Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm Fridays 8am to 1pm.
