This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, family-run garage with a small, close-knit team. Its a relaxed working environment where everyone works hard, enjoys a good laugh and plenty of friendly banter with a couple of dogs around the workplace too!

The owner is hands-on and supportive, and theyre looking for someone reliable, flexible and with a good attitude who will fit well into the team.

Youll be working in a clean, heated and well-lit workshop. If youre an experienced Mechanic looking to become an MOT Tester, training can also be provided.

What we need from you as a Mechanic:

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experienceworking as a Mechanic
  • Experienced in servicing, brakes, tyres, clutches and timing beltsetc
  • Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
  • Have your own basic tools
  • Flexible attitude to work able to work extra hours when needed
  • Good sense of humour!
  • Hold a current UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • MOT testing licence
  • Any relevant qualifications

What the role involves:

  • Maintenance of cars and vans
  • Servicing, brakes, tyres, clutches and timing beltsetc
  • Providing excellent standards of customer service
  • Ensuring the workspace is kept clean and tidy#MOT Testing (if you have the licence)

Salary:
Β£13.50 - Β£19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours: MondayFriday 7.30am& 5.30pm flexible, with a paid lunch break. xiskglj Some out of hours and weekend working (Saturday 9am 1pm) may be required from time to time, depending on the needs of the business.
