What we need from you:
- Experience in electrical/electronic design with a good understanding of circuit theory
- Have a desire for personal growth and success
- Experience in managing a range of projects & products, for differing markets and customers
- Able to get on with and manage people customers, staff, & contractors
- Able to guide staff technically
- Hold a UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle
Desirable, but not essential: (specialised training will be given where required)
- Experience in electrical design & installation work inside or outside
- Qualifications in electrical/electronic engineering
- Experience with writing tenders & some familiarity with BSI electrical standards
- Some experience using CAD/Photoshop
What the role involves:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be leading a small team and your duties will include the following, but not limited to:
- You will be a factory key holder
- Design & cost customer solutions
- Able to write tenders and proposals, and cost them with the accountant
- Support internal sales staff with customer technical queries
- Liaise with our key suppliers in the UK & overseas, with the possibility of occasional overseas travel
- Complete site surveys and reports
- Support the company HERS and IS09001 approvals
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am 4.30pm and Friday 8am 1pm.
