Job Description Looking for an HGV Class 2 driving role that offers something different from simply being behind the wheel? \n This position combines HGV Class 2 driving with the opportunity to train as a Jet Vac Engineer. You don't need previous drainage or Jet Vac experience, as full training will be provided. \n The role is with a small, established, family-owned business providing drainage solutions across domestic, commercial and industrial markets. n They're looking for someone with experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver who is happy to get involved in the practical side of the job and learn new skills. \n To be considered for this role, you will need: \n \n A Class 2 Driving Licence , enabling you to drive tankers \n Previous experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver \n To live within a 30-minute drive of the main office in Coalville \n A willingness to undertake the training required for the role \n The ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting other operatives and engineers when required \n To be confident carrying out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything remains fully operational \n A good level of physical fitness, as the position involves manual work \n \n \n What you'll be doing: \n You will be trained to operate drain and sewer cleaning vehicles and machinery, working across commercial and industrial sites as well as residential properties. \n \n Carrying out emergency and planned drain cleaning and cleansing work \n Emptying septic tanks and interceptors \n Working alongside other engineers to assist with additional drainage tasks when required \n Operating a van pack jetting unit as required \n \n \n Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per year, plus overtime and on-call bonus. \n Hours: Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 7.30am - 4.30pm. \Overtime and weekend work is also available. \n On-call rota: \n The on-call rota is currently 1 week in 4, Monday to Friday. You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every four weeks.
