Recruit 121 is excited to be working with an international client who is looking for a Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity as my client is VC backed and will give you exposure to working with some big players in the market. The organisation is going through a restructure, so this is a great opportunity for the right driven individual to make their mark!
You will be required to look at all the processes and procedures and redefine/simplify the way reports are consolidated. Ideally, you will have had some experience in dealing with branches overseas, but this isn’t essential. You will be used to dealing with various stakeholders from both internally and externally. The role will suit someone with strong financial expertise, leadership skills and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities- Month end duties including production of management accounts, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Day to day management of the finance department, ensuring compliance with company procedures and processes.
- Liaising with the Finance Director on areas such as budgeting & cash flow management.
- Overseeing the planning and arranging of supplier payments.
- Address financial concerns with a focus on optimising processes and ensuring accuracy.
- Implement cost-effective practices and adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Generate necessary financial reports and ensure accuracy in processing financial documentation.
- Generate board reporting packs and requirements from PE parent.
- Utilise experience in dealing with both B2B and B2C financial transactions.
- Stay informed on regulatory compliance and financial best practices.
- Take charge of health and safety procedures within the financial department.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Work closely with the operational department to ensure stock accuracy.
