Job Title: Production Manager – Quarry Environment Location: Coalville, Leicestershire Contract: 6-Month Interim (Potential to Extend) Rate: £20.00 – £25.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Start Date: Within the next 4-6 weeks About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to work in a quarry environment in the Coalville, Leicestershire area. This is an interim role for a 6-month period with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and hold an 8.1D appointed Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Work towards accurate financial forecasting and effective budgetary control. * Manage production schedules to meet site requirements and commercial targets. * Actively promote a Zero LTI (Lost Time Injury) culture across all operations. * Oversee the primary and secondary production teams, including the wash plant. * Deliver monthly management KPIs to the NCH management team. * Manage staff development and provide effective leadership. * Plan and implement waste recovery through the wash plant. * Ensure compliance with the Mines and Quarries Act and Quarry Regulations 1999. * Uphold site-specific SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) procedures and rules. Qualifications: * SHE QCF Level 4/6. * IOSH Managing Safely qualification. * HR awareness. * Geotechnical Level 3 or above. Essential Skills and Experience: * At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the quarrying industry. * In-depth working knowledge of quarry production, plant, and materials. * Familiarity with relevant Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, including the Quarry Regulations 1999. * Strong understanding of financial controls and production management. * Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a diverse team.
