I’m currently recruiting for a Housing Systems Consultant to support a housing provider with their core applications estate, particularly across MRI / Orchard Housing. It’s a 6-month contract, paying up to £450 per day outside IR35, with 2 days per week onsite in Central London. The role would suit someone who has worked across housing and finance systems, and can support both BAU and project work around reporting, configuration, testing, supplier liaison and user support.

Key Experience Required

  • Strong experience supporting MRI / Orchard Housing within a housing association or local authority environment
  • Good understanding of housing processes across areas such as tenancies, rents, repairs, assets, compliance and customer services
  • Strong SQL experience, including querying databases, investigating data issues, extracting information and supporting reporting/data fixes
  • Strong Power BI experience, including building, amending and supporting dashboards and reports for operational and management use
  • Experience working through application support tickets, change requests and system issues
  • Ability to liaise with business users to understand requirements and translate them into system/reporting improvements
  • Experience with data quality, data cleansing, validation and reconciliation
  • Confident working with IT teams, data teams, suppliers and operational stakeholders
  • Experience supporting UAT, testing, documentation and user training
