Are you a Digital Business Analyst looking to work in a meaningful sector? This North East–based Housing Association is on an ambitious transformation journey, putting technology at the centre of how it operates and delivers services. The focus isn’t just on systems for the sake of change, but on creating solutions that are customer‑focused, reliable, and make life easier for both residents and staff.
We are helping them to recruit for a Digital Business Analyst to play a key role in that journey. You’ll be working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping them understand what’s needed, translating that into meaningful requirements, and guiding the direction of digital change. This is very much a role where your insight and judgement will shape outcomes, rather than simply documenting what already exists.
You’ll spend time collaborating with teams across the business, running workshops, and really getting under the skin of current processes. From there, you’ll help design improved ways of working, producing clear functional and non‑functional requirements and supporting technology‑led change using Agile approaches. You’ll also work alongside technical Project Managers and IT colleagues to ensure solutions are practical, delivered effectively, and genuinely add value.
They’re looking for someone who brings a business‑first mindset, but who is comfortable working closely with technical teams. You don’t need to be hands‑on technically, but you do need to understand systems change and how to bridge the gap between users, technology, and delivery teams.
Experience working on IT or systems change projects is essential. Exposure to housing systems or social housing would be a real advantage, but they’re also open to strong BAs who are motivated by purpose‑led work and keen to apply their skills in a new environment.
The salary on offer is ÂŁ46,700 with great benefits. It is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their office based in the greater Newcastle area.
