Are you a Data Analyst who enjoys turning complex data into something that genuinely helps teams make better decisions? I am working with a Housing Association that has already invested in its data platform, with the majority of its data now either structured within Fabric or actively being moved there. The foundations are strong and now they’re moving into the next phase: driving real insight and value from that data.

The focus of this role is on enhancing reporting and insight across the business, helping teams better understand performance, trends, and opportunities through tools like Power BI and Metrics. It’s less about building the platform itself, and more about making sure the business can actually use the data effectively and confidently.

You’ll be working across a mix of improving reporting for operational teams, bringing together data from multiple systems into a single trusted view, supporting the integration of systems into the Fabric environment and driving insight, trends, and meaningful analysis that teams can act on.

A key part of the role is also around data discovery, understanding where data exists, how it’s structured, and how it can be used more effectively to support decision‑making across the organisation. The organisation is at a point where the data platform is in place and the pipeline and infrastructure is established. There is a need to unlock the value of the data at a business level.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business
  • Improve how teams access and use data
  • Help shape how reporting and insight evolves over time

This role is suited to someone with a strong blend of technical capability and stakeholder engagement, someone who can build, but also explain and influence.

Core Skills
  • Power BI – building reports and dashboards (including modern/report‑as‑code approaches)
  • SQL – querying, transforming, and validating data
  • Python – supporting data transformation and working alongside tooling like PySpark
  • ETL / Data pipelines – understanding how data flows and is structured

Beyond the technical side, this role is all about working with stakeholders at all levels, translating data into clear, usable insights and helping improve data quality, consistency, and trust across the business.

The salary on offer is circa £45,000 with some great benefits. It is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their office based on the outskirts of Slough.
