Are you an expert in Housing Management Systems within Housing Associations? Do you want to be the primary lead responsible for setting the strategy for a new Housing Management Systems roll out? If so, this position could be for you!

A London-based Housing Association is in search of a Head of IT to be in charge of reviewing their current Housing Management System, procuring a new platform, and ensuring its successful implementation and delivery. Reporting to the IT Director, you will take the steer on all things Housing management systems, from developing a comprehensive strategy for Housing management system review, procurement, training and ongoing Housing Management System development.

The primary objective is to modernise their systems, enabling them to provide the best service to residents. In this role, you will have full ownership of the company-wide HMS systems. This is a fantastic chance to shape the future for this housing association and put your own stamp on how this organisation can adopt new technology to improve its customers' experience.

Your overarching role will encompass:

  • Reviewing the current HMS.
  • Procuring a new HMS or devising an upgrade plan for the existing one.
  • Rolling out the new HMS.
  • Ensuring successful adoption and usage of the new HMS.
  • Staying abreast of all upgrades and module additions across departments.
  • Setting strategy and delivering after this initial programme has been successfully delivered.

You will be a great fit for this position if you bring:

  • Proven experience in working with systems within Housing Associations or Local Authorities.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Expertise in system review and examples of successful system procurement.
  • If you have experience leading on an end-to-end system implementation, this would be advantageous.
  • Senior stakeholder management and influence.

In return for your expertise, a competitive salary of £89,000 is on offer, complemented by excellent additional benefits. This role supports remote work with occasional travel to the London head offices.
