Job Description
Our client, a notable industry pension provider, collaborate with regulated financial advisers offering a range of personal pensions for UK and non-UK residents.\\n\\nThey offer advanced pension products, which have won various industry awards to date, with an unwavering focus on client satisfaction.\\n\\nWith a clear focus on financial services technology and innovation, backed by a strong set of values, their pension solutions ensure robust and continued performance year on year.\\n\\nDue to expanding headcount, the SIPP Administrating team is seeking to recruit additional team members to continue supporting client and financial adviser needs.\\n\\nMain Purpose of the role:\\n\\nAs a dedicated member of the SIPP administration team you will undertake day-to-day administration work processing requests. You will support client and adviser needs with the highest professional standards.\\n\\nThis role involves dealing with various internal teams and departments but importantly with external entities such as financial advisers, lenders and solicitors on a regular basis.\\n\\nMain responsibilities:\\n\\n * Process SIPP transfer out requests\\n\\n * Process new business applications through to completion\\n\\n * Complete transfers in and investment applications\\n\\n * Process PCLS payments for clients in retirement\\n\\n * Process regular and ad-hoc payments for clients in retirements\\n\\n * Administer a whole life cycle of a SIPP from transfers to retirements\\n\\n * Process investment withdrawals for one off and regular payments on time for payments to the members on time\\n\\n * Process member benefit payroll and use Sage Payroll to calculate tax\\n\\n * Use HMRC online services to process income tax\\n\\n * Have timely communication with the advisers and members to notify them of any issues with the member’s request\\n\\n * Other than retirements and payments, at times administer other aspects of SIPP and SSAS workload including SIPPs holding portfolios of properties\\n\\n * Build relationships with our advisers and clients\\n\\n * Ensuring full compliance with Service Level Agreements\\n\\n * Embed risk management in all aspects of your work\\n\\n * Ability to resolve complaints effectively\\n\\nKnowledge, skills, and experience required:\\n\\n * Strong SIPP/Pension knowledge\\n\\n * Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure\\n\\n * Confident with the ability to ask questions\\n\\n * Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills\\n\\n * Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel\\n\\n * Positive written and verbal communication\\n\\n * Excellent numerical and customer services skills\\n\\n * Understand SIPP rules and be able to perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations and divorce calculations\\n\\n * Be able to understand investment transactions including identifying non-standard investments\\n\\n * Aptitude to learn and adapt new skills, processes, systems and tasks\\n\\n * Understand pension rules and be able to perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations and divorce calculations\\n\\n * Be able to understand investment transactions including identifying non-standard investments\\n\\n * Aptitude to learn and adapt new skills, processes, systems and tasks\\n\\nThis is an award winning, industry recognised brand who are offering various opportunities across the business for Financial Services professionals, it’s an exciting time to join.\\n\\nThe company enjoys an excellent working culture where staff retention is excellent.\\n\\nAn attractive salary alongside comprehensive benefits are all available.\\n\\nOffice/home working is fully supported.\\n\\nPlease apply to us here at Recruit Wealth for an immediate response
