The Role
Working closely with a team of experienced Financial Planners, you'll provide first-class technical support and help deliver tailored financial planning solutions for a wide range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed and personalised suitability reports
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
- Building and maintaining accurate cashflow models
- Preparing recommendations that support holistic financial planning
- Liaising with clients and professional introducers including accountants and solicitors
- Assisting with advice implementation and maintaining high compliance standards
- Supporting Financial Planners throughout the advice process from recommendation through to implementation
- Ensuring FCA and Consumer Duty principles remain at the heart of every client outcome
About You
You'll already have experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment and be passionate about delivering exceptional technical work. You'll ideally have:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Planning or Wealth Management business
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning
- Excellent suitability report writing skills
- Experience using cashflow modelling software and financial planning technology
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to continue developing your technical expertise
