Opportunity

We’re currently looking for a motivated and ambitious Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join a friendly and growing Mortgage Team based in Cambridgeshire. This opportunity would suit someone with at least 12 months’ experience within mortgage administration, ideally gained within a mortgage brokerage, financial planning firm or wider financial services environment, who is looking to build a long-term career within the mortgage and financial planning sector. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team of advisers and administrators who genuinely enjoy working together, sharing knowledge and helping each other develop professionally.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in supporting Mortgage & Protection Advisers throughout the client journey, ensuring an efficient and professional experience from application through to completion. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing full administrative support to Mortgage & Protection Advisers
  • Managing client documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising professionally with clients, lenders, insurers and third parties
  • Supporting mortgage applications from submission through to completion
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of client service
  • Assisting with compliance and internal processes in line with FCA requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely passionate about developing a career within mortgages and financial services. You’ll ideally have:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in mortgage administration
  • Experience within a mortgage brokerage, financial planning firm or regulated financial services environment
  • CeMAP studies underway, or the motivation to begin
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a close-knit team
