Paraplanner role with an Independent Financial Planning organisation based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. You will work alongside high‑performing Financial Planners who manage a diverse portfolio of private clients relating to personal wealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and prepare reports on the client’s current situation in the short, medium and long term relating to pensions and investments.
- Explain complex solutions clearly and produce comprehensive financial planning reports while working closely with the Financial Planners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ideally Diploma status and ambitions to study further towards Chartered status.
- Excellent product knowledge (ideally from a whole of market environment) with in-depth knowledge of pension and investment client advice.
- Strong communication, presentation and IT skills with experience using advanced back office software.
Career Progression
Opportunities to progress to Advising could present themselves over the long term; however, this is not a prerequisite to be considered for the role if you consider yourself to be a career Paraplanner.
