Our North London, Financial Planning client is an award-winning practice who have recently gone through expansion with a new investor. Their future is secure, as they continue to offer best advice in all areas of investment, pension, protection and estate planning to both corporate and individual clients. As a business, they are passionate about client service and enjoy regular client communication ensuring financial planning remains a priority. They work closely with many financial institutions/providers to provide innovative solutions, always adding value to their clients' long-term plans. This is a large, progressive Financial Planning business who already have talented, professional individuals who enjoy a collaborative and rewarding working culture.
Excitingly, they now require a Trainee Paraplanner to join the practice to work alongside existing, qualified Paraplanners.
Duties And Responsibilities- Obtaining relevant literature to accompany client reports
- Dealing with client administration
- Preparation of packs for meetings with clients including investment valuations
- Preparation of reports to clients on financial planning matters
- Learning and using all applications required for the job including Excel/Word, Financial Express Analytics, Intelligent Office client management system, Wrap - investment deals & client processing
- Attend client meetings with financial planners and contribute to such meetings
- Undertake research as required on specific projects
- Computer literate
- Good keyboard and data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Self-motivated and willing to work within a team and alone
- A natural interest in finance
- High level of accuracy
- Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines
Please note: As already stated, progression is available to Paraplanner, Senior Paraplanner and even to Adviser if you so wish. Of course, support for industry exams will be fully supported. WFH/Hybrid is also available with this opportunity. This opportunity will undoubtedly suit an individual who has a Financial Services background, either technical administration or already carrying out light Paraplanning duties, and looking to take the next step up in their career.
