An established and growing employee benefits consultancy is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join its UK-based team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to work in a values-driven, client-focused environment where your expertise will shape strategic benefit solutions for a wide range of corporate clients.
The RoleAs a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, you\’ll take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering high-level consultancy and advisory services. You\’ll also help shape internal thinking and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client relationships, offering strategic advice across Group Risk, Healthcare, and wider benefits.
Design and deliver tailored benefits solutions aligned with client goals and budgets.
Support renewals, market reviews, and provider negotiations.
Act as a trusted adviser to HR and Finance stakeholders across mid to large-sized businesses.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
Mentor and support more junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Keep up to date with relevant legislative, regulatory, and market developments.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in employee benefits consulting, ideally in a senior role.
Strong technical knowledge of Group Risk, Private Medical Insurance, and flexible benefits.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
Commercially astute with a strong understanding of client business drivers.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CII Diploma or working towards).
