About the Role

Recruit UK is working on behalf of a leading financial planning firm who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from home while supporting a network of highly skilled financial advisers. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support, producing compliant suitability reports, and ensuring clients receive an exceptional service. Please note: you would need to go to the Southport office initially while getting up and running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports and recommendations.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis on financial products.
  • Supporting advisers with technical queries and financial planning solutions.
  • Reviewing client files to ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing client information systems.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and standards within the team.

About You

  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within financial services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
  • Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS/Equivalent) qualified, or working towards this.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads independently.
  • Comfortable working remotely, with strong self-motivation and discipline.
