Job Description:

Recruit UK is working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Administrator to join a well-established Independent Financial Advice firm based in Blackpool.

As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of VCT activities, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle shareholder and intermediary enquiries, process transactions and payments, maintain creditor records, and manage agency transfer requests, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Support VCT applications, including pre- and post-allotment administration, buybacks and related disclosures. Assist with weekly Net Asset Value disclosures to the London Stock Exchange and maintain the relevant website updates.
  • Conduct anti-money laundering checks and risk reviews for VCT applicants, obtain additional information where required, and assist with KPI tracking, departmental MI, analysis and reporting.

Skills and experience required:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working as an Administrator or in a similar role within financial services and a regulated environment
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Avaloq is highly advantageous
