Recruit UK are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance administrator to join a well-established and growing financial services business. The purpose of this role is to support the firm’s compliance framework and adviser supervision processes, ensuring high standards of regulatory adherence, competence, and risk management across the business. You will play a key role in maintaining a strong compliance culture while working closely with advisers, management, and the wider compliance function. This is a varied and hands-on position involving adviser oversight, file checking, risk monitoring, regulatory reporting, and support with training and competency frameworks. You will also contribute to Consumer Duty requirements, compliance audits, and ongoing policy development.

Key duties involve, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with file checking and provide feedback findings to individual advisers
  • Assist with adviser observations (client meetings)
  • Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and fit for purpose
  • Support preparation for annual compliance audits and follow-up actions
  • Perform risk assessments and monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
